Speaker’s Workshop Proposal for Monthly Meetings
The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Southern Arizona (AFP) welcomes proposals for its professional development program during monthly morning meetings. We are delighted that you/your organization is interested in presenting.
AFP’s monthly meeting is one of its primary member educational opportunities. The meetings are held on the second Friday of each month, excluding November and December, from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Meetings are held in person with an option to join by Zoom. A continental breakfast is served.
The meeting provides meaningful time for networking with colleagues in the development profession followed by an informative and interactive educational presentation. It is an opportunity to delve deeper into topics of interest and importance to the membership and fundraising profession.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and access)
- Annual fundraising campaigns
- Major gifts program
- Leadership building and organizational capacity
- Board governance, management, and development
- Communication and presentation skills
