National Philanthropy Day is an annual event to recognize and celebrate the philanthropists and fundraisers who sustain our vibrant nonprofit community. Each year, the Association of Fundraising Professionals hosts a community celebration of the transformative power of philanthropy – please join us! Nominate an individual or organization for a National Philanthropy Day Award Six major awards will be presented to individuals and organizations whose philanthropic contributions and dedicated volunteerism improve the quality of life in our community. You can nominate for Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, Outstanding Corporate or Corporate Foundation Philanthropist, Outstanding Foundation Philanthropist, Outstanding Fundraising Professional and Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy. Formal praise for those who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and vision in support of your organization’s goals not only confirms their efforts but also inspires others in southern Arizona. The Spirit of Philanthropy Award is an opportunity to recognize individuals or organizations who significantly give back to southern Arizona. Nominations are due by July 31, 2023 to be mentioned in Tucson Lifestyle.
