National Philanthropy Day is an annual event to recognize and celebrate the philanthropists and fundraisers who sustain our vibrant nonprofit community. Each year, the Association of Fundraising Professionals hosts a community celebration of the transformative power of philanthropy – please join us!

Nominate a person or organization for one of our major awards!

Six major awards will be presented to individuals and organizations whose philanthropic contributions and dedicated volunteerism improve the quality of life in our community. Click below to submit a nomination. The submission deadline is 5pm on May 2, 2022.

Recognize a Spirit of Philanthropy

Recognize an Individual, Group, or Organization with a Spirit of Philanthropy Award

The Spirit of Philanthropy Award recognizes individuals or organizations who exemplify philanthropy through their contributions of time, talent, and treasure. Formal praise for those who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and vision in support of your organization’s goals not only confirms their efforts but also inspires others in southern Arizona. The Spirit of Philanthropy Award is an opportunity to recognize individuals or organizations who significantly give back to southern Arizona.
