National Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside each year to recognize and celebrate the many contributions that philanthropists, board members, volunteers, civic and corporate leaders, and nonprofit champions have made in our community.  Now more than ever, we sing the praises of those who step up in times of insurmountable challenge. Given the global circumstances as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are adapting in true, southern Arizona form, with creativity and enthusiasm for our community.

This year, we are thrilled to announce a virtual celebration of NPD.

On Friday, November 13, 2020, the Association of Fundraising Professionals will be leaping into the digital age and honoring the health and well-being of those we care for most by streaming a very special celebration of our 2020 honorees. This unique, virtual event will offer a special way to celebrate from afar with enhanced digital recognition of this year’s honorees.

There are several ways that you can be a part of this special day. Nominate an honoree/honorees for one of the seven National Philanthropy Day Awards this year. Recognize an individual or organization with a Spirit of Philanthropy Award. Become a sponsor, purchase an ad, and learn more below!

For more information, please reach out to the NPD 2020 Co-chairs Gemma Thomas at gemma.thomas@childrensclinics.org or Travis Craddock at tcraddock@saaf.org.
