National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community –to the enrichment of our lives, our community and our world.
The Association is seeking sponsors to assist us in advancing ethical and effective fundraising by sponsoring the NPD Awards Celebration. Though the primary goal of the event is to celebrate Tucson’s generous spirit, the National Philanthropy Day luncheon is the primary fundraiser for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter.
Proceeds of the National Philanthropy Day celebration are awarded as scholarships to members of the Association to support membership, CFRE certification, and participation in continuing education opportunities, as we are committed to the pursuit of excellence and ongoing learning in our field.
