Soliciting Major Gifts with Excellence
October 9, 2020 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Please join us on October 9th for a presentation from Graham Hoffman, President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona.
Soliciting Major Gifts with Excellence
Major gift solicitation can be one of the most effective ways for a nonprofit to achieve their annual fund goals. If your fundraising efforts do not include a major gift piece, you are ignoring a critical area. This presentation is designed to enhance your skills and success with major gift solicitations. The workshop will be interactive, providing hands-on exercises to practice what you learn. We hope it will result in a stronger major gift fundraising campaign, allowing your agency to spend more time focusing on the important work you do to serve our community.
Graham Hoffman is President and CEO of the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona. He has worked in the philanthropic sector for over seventeen years and has demonstrated experience in strategic planning, major gifts fundraising, endowments, and planned giving. Prior to his transition to Tucson in 2018, Graham was Deputy Director of Development at AIPAC and Deputy Director of AIEF, where he oversaw major gifts, endowment, and grants processes; developed activist engagement and stewardship strategies; and empowered regional development staff to secure new and increased commitments to advance the organization’s strategic growth plan.
A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis’ Olin Business School, he began a successful career in consulting at Accenture, specializing in organizational change management, operations improvement, and strategy. Prior to AIPAC, Graham spent a decade at Hillel International in senior strategy roles, ultimately as Associate Vice President for Strategy.
