But we continue to face challenges, including funding dynamics, bizsplaining, and chairs held together with duct tape. What does the future of our sector look like? How do we own our awesomeness and unleash our full potential? Workshop: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Everyday Practice – 9:15 am -11:15 am Our sector has been talking a lot about DEI. But what does it look like on the ground? In this interactive session, we will explore what actions we can take in a host of areas—board development, fundraising, evaluation, hiring, communications, etc.—in order to create a vibrant, inclusive world. “When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? About Vu Le
Vu Le (“voo lay”) is a writer, speaker, vegan, Pisces, and the Executive Director of Rainier Valley Corps, a nonprofit in Seattle that promotes social justice by developing leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaboration between diverse communities.
