About Our Speakers

Edna Meza Aguirre JD, CFRE (she/her/ella) has been working in development for 18 years. She is a political consultant and fundraiser with the Arizona Center for Women’s Advancement. She has also fundraised for The University of Arizona Health Sciences & Planned Parenthood Arizona. She serves on the board of directors of Southern Arizona AFP, Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona and the University of Arizona Consortium on Gender Based Violence.

A Tucson native, she is bilingual/bicultural and received her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law.

Travis Craddock (he, she, or they) is an accomplished fundraising and nonprofit professional, receiving the prestigious Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2020. A graduate of Arizona State University, Travis has spent the last four years as the Director of Development at the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation and the previous three years as the Associate Director of Advancement at San Miguel High School. When they are not building relationships both inside and outside of work, you can often find Travis volunteering for various causes around town, including sitting on the boards for both the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Children’s Museum Tucson │ Oro Valley.

Alba Rojas-Sukkar, CFRE is the Chief Development Officer at the Arizona Oncology Foundation and has been in the fundraising business for over 27 years. Alba has worked for and raised much-needed funds for organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs, American Cancer Society, Tucson Museum of Art, and had her own consulting company for eight years.

She currently runs the Arizona Oncology Foundation, and fundraises to provide programs and services to help those going through cancer. When she is not fundraising, Alba spends her time helping other organizations. She is an Ambassador Council Member of the Arizona Sand’s Club at the University of Arizona, and a member of Angel Charity for Children, and The Association of Fundraising Professionals. She currently sits on the local board of directors of AFPSOAZ.
