Creating Meaningful Events People Actually Want to Attend
Presented by Ashley La Russa
Explore event strategies and trends that capture your audience’s interest while achieving impactful philanthropic goals. Break out of the traditional constructs of banquet halls, rounds, and typical decor.
Ashley La Russa founded Roux Events in 2019, an event management company with a primary focus on supporting the growth of organizations and community leaders that foster equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Ashley is the creator of the largest accessible directory of Black Businesses in Arizona called Blax Friday.
Blax Friday is the ONLY Black Business app in Arizona, solving the issue of locating Black businesses statewide. The monthly market, SOUL FOOD WEDNESDAYS is a celebration of life that spotlights Black businesses in partnership with local venues.
Ashley serves on the Local First Arizona Business Advisory Council, BIPOC Community Loan Committee, Downtown Parade of Lights and Festival Board, and the African American Legacy Fund Board. Ashley partners with organizations, hotels, and event venues to strategically plan how to serve the community as a whole.
