Amalia is a sought-after DEIA expert\, immigrant rights advocate\, and engaged community member serving on various boards. \n  \n  \nKerri Lopez-Howell\, Executive Director – Sunnyside Foundation \nKerri Lopez-Howell is the Executive Director of Sunnyside Foundation a grantmaking foundation being built by the people they serve. \nIn 2 years\, Kerri has led Sunnyside Foundation\, to a 700% increase in revenue\, grew her staff and board by 100%. She serves on the board of directors of Southern Arizona AFP\, Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona and the University of Arizona Consortium on Gender Based Violence. \nA Tucson native\, she is bilingual/bicultural and received her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law. \nTravis Craddock (he\, she\, or they) is an accomplished fundraising and nonprofit professional\, receiving the prestigious Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2020. A graduate of Arizona State University\, Travis has spent the last four years as the Director of Development at the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation and the previous three years as the Associate Director of Advancement at San Miguel High School. When they are not building relationships both inside and outside of work\, you can often find Travis volunteering for various causes around town\, including sitting on the boards for both the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Children’s Museum Tucson │ Oro Valley. \nAlba Rojas-Sukkar\, CFRE is the Chief Development Officer at the Arizona Oncology Foundation and has been in the fundraising business for over 27 years. Alba has worked for and raised much-needed funds for organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs\, American Cancer Society\, Tucson Museum of Art\, and had her own consulting company for eight years. \nShe currently runs the Arizona Oncology Foundation\, and fundraises to provide programs and services to help those going through cancer. When she is not fundraising\, Alba spends her time helping other organizations. She is an Ambassador Council Member of the Arizona Sand’s Club at the University of Arizona\, and a member of Angel Charity for Children\, and The Association of Fundraising Professionals. A former attorney\, Gugulethu is a human rights advocate with expertise in press freedom. She was the founding Executive Director of Media Defence\, a London-based legal aid organization dedicated to defending media freedom worldwide. \nGugulethu grew up in Zimbabwe\, from which she emigrated to the United Kingdom in 2004 after serving as In-House Counsel to Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe\, then publisher of Zimbabwe’s sole independent daily newspaper. \nGugulethu has served on multiple boards of directors; she currently serves on the board of the Council of American Jewish Museums and Child & Family Resources. \nHer writing has been published in The Guardian\, The Independent\, New Statesman magazine and other publications. Gugulethu’s January 2021 appointment to the Jewish History Museum is featured as the cover story of the current (March-April) issue of Arizona Jewish Life magazine. \nGugulethu earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. She spent a year studying design at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design in 2017. English is the third of multiple languages that Gugulethu speaks. This includes assessment to guide intentional development of programs and experiences to address recruitment\, access\, support\, and retention of underrepresented students\, faculty\, and staff. Dr. Meeks incorporates equity and inclusion-based student affairs practice to review policies\, procedures\, and practices that contribute to a culture of inclusion.  \nOriginally from Waterloo\, Iowa\, Dr. Meeks earned a BA in Political Science and MA in Student Development and Postsecondary Education from The University of Iowa. She completed a doctorate in Higher Education and Organizational Change in 2016 from Benedictine University. Dr. Meeks’ research explores the experiences of African American mothers working in student affairs\, with a special focus on race and gender as intersecting identities.
