About the Conference
AFP Southern Arizona is proud to host this annual conference and provide an exceptional learning experience rich in innovative ideas and solutions for members from our three state AFP chapters, non-AFP members, and others from across the southwest.
Conference workshops will be organized into three topic areas:
IDEA: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access in Nonprofit Workforces, Boards, and Donors
Social Justice & Ethics: The Nonprofit's Role
Future of Fundraising: Skill-Building for Fundraising Professionals
How to Apply
Interested presenters should complete the form below. You may propose up to three workshops per form submitted. All workshops are 60 minutes in length, and should leave time for Q&A in that hour.
Proposals are due by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The Program Committee will consider speakers who submit completed RFPs and applicants may submit proposals for up to two topics. Preference will be given to presenters with a CFRE/ACFRE/FAHP credential and/or certification from the AFP Faculty Training Academy. Preference will also be given to AFP Members. Presenters will be notified of their selection by Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
All speakers will be offered a $250 honorarium and complimentary conference registration for the day they present. Out-of-town speakers (anyone outside of the Tucson Metro Area) may be provided with a complimentary one-night stay at the conference hotel, Casino del Sol, upon request. Selected speakers from out of state may also be potentially offered additional funds toward airfare. All incidental expenses are the speaker’s responsibility.
