For the past nine years she has taken her large enterprise experience and applied it to the nonprofit sector as an accountant\, financial analyst\, and CFO. Joan earned an MBA\, but more importantly has applied knowledge in nonprofits. She understands and has hands-on experience in nonprofit operations including compliance\, licensure\, human resources\, facilities management\, and organizational IT. Joan has been through many of the challenges facing nonprofits today; expansion\, contraction\, mergers\, new accounting systems\, program restructures\, and real estate development. As the owner of HAC\, Joan has been inspired by the resilience and passion of her clients. She has seen the need for reliable\, accessible\, and professional accounting services in the nonprofit sector and is passionate about sharing her specialized skills and knowledge. \nMelissa Seida\, CPA\, holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Arizona. In 2009\, she began her professional accounting career with Keegan Linscott & Associates\, where she is a Director in Audit Services\, specializing in providing audit and other assurance-related services such as reviews\, compilations\, and agreed-upon procedures engagements to not-for-profit\, government\, manufacturing\, and housing entities. She also specializes in performing compliance audits in accordance with the Single Audit Act and the Uniform Guidance. Melissa has served on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and volunteered for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona\, Habitat for Humanity Tucson\, and the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Outside of her professional career\, Melissa enjoys spending time and going camping with her husband Bruce and their son.
