As part of our commitment to IDEA, we’ve taken the traditional concept of mentorship and removed the inherent hierarchy of “mentor” and “mentee”. We acknowledge that all people bring different experiences to the development sector and matches will be made on criteria including, but not limited to, the amount of time participants have worked in the fundraising and development field.
Peer Connect matches make a commitment to meeting regularly throughout the year (virtually or in-person as safety allows) to exchange ideas, advice, and feedback. We hope this gives both participants the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through building authentic relationships.
